In 2012 I opened my first Insurance agency, an agency with zero customers other than myself. I wanted to help homeowners de-mystify their insurance polices and bring clarity to the industry.
Inevitably, I found that many clients owned their own business. And if what they didn’t know about their basic home and auto insurance was any indication of what they didn’t know about the complexities of owning, operating, funding, and maintaining wealth for future generations….they were in need of SERIOUS help.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I’m married to Lauren Hughes and we have a little 2 year old boy named Owen.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

Local Lime – Tusk & Trotter – Peddlers Pub
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I grew up just down the road so I’ve been around NWA my entire life (32 years)
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
No one is standing out as the most interesting – So I guess I don’t have an answer
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Swiss Alps – I want to take the train that runs along the base and stop at the little villages and towns along the way.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
James Bond Movies (The Daniel Craig ones)
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Stop watching the news – You don’t walk away happy from it.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Heli-Skiing in Whistler

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
The small diners that are around downtown Rogers
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Dave Grohl – He’s a world famous rock star but has a family and seems really down to earth. We’d go to the Rail Yard have some pizza and drinks.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
It’s got to be the bike trails!
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Still here in the community – Except with more travel throughout the year.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I have quite a few tattoos – I mostly keep them covered if I’m posting via social media.
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Whistler, BC / British Virgin Islands

October – Christmas – There’s too many good days to just count one.
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Fresh snow on the slopes and a warm fire at night.

It’s cheesy – But definitely my son.
